By Air:

Both of Houston’s major airports are located within an hour of Rice. Bush International (IAH) http://www.fly2houston.com/iah is located roughly 40 minutes north of Rice’s campus, while Houston Hobby (HOU) http://www.fly2houston.com/hobby is located roughly 25 minutes southeast.

Shuttles run from both airports to hotels near the university, and reservations can be made online at Super Shuttle http://www.supershuttle.com. If you are interested in trying to share a shuttle reservation with fellow presenters, please let us know your flight plans, and we will try to match you up as best we can.

The basic cost of the Super Shuttle is $25.00 from Bush Airport (IAH) or $19.00 from Hobby Airport (HOU).

The cost of a taxi from Bush Airport to the Hilton Plaza Medical Center is approximately $70.00. From Hobby Airport the taxi fares is approximately $45.00.

Driving directions:

Take U.S. 59 to the Fannin Street exit. Drive south on Fannin until you reach Sunset Boulevard. Take a right on Sunset and an immediate left on Main street. Turn right into the Rice campus using entrance #1.

Parking:

Parking will be available on the Rice campus for a fee.

Public Transportation:

Take the METRO Rail to the Memorial Hermann/Houston Zoo stop. Walk one block northwest on Cambridge Street to reach the Rice campus.
