Exhibitor Information

A limited number of exhibitors may showcase their programs, services, or merchandise at the conference.

Tabletops

Tabletops are $500 and must be paid in full upon submission of this contract. Contracts must be submitted by April 2, 2018. Each tabletop space includes one table, two chairs, and a black tablecloth. Tabletop registration also includes two complimentary badges. Badges grant admission to conferences sessions and lunch.

Contract Terms and Conditions for Exhibits

This contract is made between the Rice Center for Languages and Intercultural Communication (hereafter, “CLIC”) and the company, agency or association completing the contract for exhibit space (hereafter, “the Exhibitor”) for lease of certain exhibit space, to be assigned by CLIC, during the 2018 CLIC Conference – Assessing Speaking in Context: New Trends. This contract shall be in effect upon its execution by CLIC.

Agreement

Exhibitors and their employees agree to the prices on this contract and agree to abide by the contract terms and conditions below. Submission of the online contract
form constitutes acceptance of and agreement to all the following terms. Exhibits should be relevant to the theme of the conference. CLIC will make the final determination as to whether to accept an Exhibitor.

Costs, Payment Schedule

Receipt of full payment per tabletop is required at time of contract submission. Contract is not valid without payment. Payment must be made in U.S. currency. Send contract and payment to:

Contract Cancellation

Upon the submission of the online contract by both parties, it shall be legally binding. A $100 per table cancellation service fee will be charged. No refunds of any kind will be made after April 19, 2018, and requests for refunds prior to that date must be submitted in writing. If the Exhibitor does not fully perform the provisions of this contract, the Exhibitor shall forfeit the amount paid for space rental, regardless of whether or not the exhibit space is subsequently rented. Additionally, CLIC is not liable for any payments, or consequential expenses of any type, which may result from CLIC’s cancellation of, or refusal to rent, tabletop space.

Waiting List

Tabletops will be granted on a first come, first served basis. If the demand for tabletops is higher than the available space, later registering Exhibitors will be placed on a waiting list and will be contacted if a table should become available.
